ViViD eSigner provides web-based cryptographic PDF document signing and verification utilities, including:

• PAdES Cryptographic PDF Signing: Embedding PKCS#7 / PAdES digital signatures into PDF documents using self-signed X.509 PKCS#12 (.p12) digital certificates.
• Custom Signature Appearance Templates: Creating and configuring multi-style visual signature stamps (graphics, names, distinguished names, locations, and reasons).
• Keychain & Touch ID Integration: Native signing via Apple Keychain certificates utilizing local Touch ID biometric prompts.
• Public Verification Portal: Verification of signed PDF document integrity via document ID lookup or SHA-256 binary hash matching.
• QR Mobile Signing Sessions: Short-lived touch-canvas signature capture on mobile devices.

As a user of ViViD eSigner, you agree to the following obligations:

• Accuracy of Identity Metadata: You guarantee that all metadata provided when generating or importing Digital IDs (Name, Email, Organization, Country) accurately represents your true identity or authorized business entity.
• Passphrase Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for setting and protecting the secret passphrase associated with your PKCS#12 (.p12) certificate files. ViViD eSigner cannot recover private keys if you forget your passphrase.
• Account Safeguards: You are responsible for all document signing actions executed under your authenticated Google account credentials.

ViViD eSigner generates standard cryptographic X.509 signatures adhering to international PDF standards (ISO 32000 & ETSI PAdES). However, users should understand the legal scope:

• Self-Signed Certificates: Digital IDs created directly within the web app are self-signed. While they provide full cryptographic tamper-evidence (proving the document was not altered after signing), Adobe Acrobat or Preview may display a trust notification unless the certificate is added to the local trusted root store or a commercial Certificate Authority (CA) is imported.
• Jurisdictional Compliance: Legal enforceability of e-signatures varies by country and jurisdiction (e.g. US ESIGN Act, EU eIDAS Regulation, India Information Technology Act). Users are responsible for confirming whether self-signed PAdES signatures meet their specific statutory contract requirements.

You strictly agree NOT to use ViViD eSigner to:

• Upload, sign, or distribute fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, or malicious documents.
• Impersonate any individual, government official, corporate entity, or Certificate Authority.
• Attempt to bypass API rate limits, exploit infrastructure vulnerabilities, or reverse-engineer serverless Worker routines.
• Upload files containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, or executable payload scripts.

Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate termination of account access and revocation of API endpoints.

You retain 100% ownership of all PDF documents, signature graphics, custom appearance designs, and digital certificate files uploaded to or processed through ViViD eSigner. ViViD App Studio asserts no intellectual property claims over your files or document contents.

ViViD eSigner is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ViViD App Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or unauthorized document tampering resulting from user disclosure of certificate passphrases.
